The Church of St. Mariam of Arinj was the first to come to life due to the charity of the Tsarukyan family. The church, which was built about 20 years ago, has its own special role in the community. It seems that the Holy Virgin has taken the entire Arinj under her powerful wings from the height of the church and protects the community's inhabitants. The Tsarukyan family has chosen the place and position of the structure on purpose. The whole community is visible from the top of the church, and the bell rings can be heard in every part of Arinj every morning. After the construction of St. Mariam, with the support of the Tsarukyan family, khachkars were installed for 17 villages in the region as a symbol of faith and Christian love.
