Continuing the construction of the church in Arinj, the Tsarukyan family also undertook the complete restoration of the Red Chapel (Karmravor) in the north of the community. The chapel is one of the oldest memorials in Arinj and dates back to the 13th century. It is built of multi-colored local tuff and is surrounded by medieval inscribed khachkars and tombstones. It is said that Karmravor is the "passport" of Arinj, which has a unique significance in the annals of the community. Before the reconstruction, the chapel was in a semi-ruined state and was completely buried in stones and bushes. Thanks to the Tsarukyan family, it was possible not only to raise the bowed head of Karmravor and give life to its lifeless stones but also to save the chapel that has been destroyed for thousands of years and pass it on to the generations as a spiritual heritage.
