Church building is of particular importance to the Tsarukyan family. Already 7 churches have been built on the initiative of the Tsarukyan family. More than 20 churches were restored and repaired, and hundreds of khachkars were installed in different regions of the republic and in the city of Yerevan. In the following years, with the support of Gagik Tsarukyan, the churches of Makaravank and Saint Hovhannes of Arinj in Kotayk region were also rebuilt.
