This initiative will help us to return to our Christian faith. This will remind us and our people that we must become the way of the truth of Christ, who came and sacrificed himself for us. The monumental statue of Christ will be a reminder of all this. Just like icons, when we put them at home, we don't kiss, we don't bow. This will help us, to delve into the truth. This is a very generous initiative. An opportunity will be created to show the presence of Christ to our and other peoples of the world. How can you resist all this? It’s a very great initiative. I am a Lebanese Armenian and there is a large statue of the Virgin in Beirut, and people from all over the world come there, pray. There is a large number of tourists. There is a special oath day, it is celebrated on May 1st. People come by foot, overcome 10-20 km until they reach the place of pilgrimage. We also, It would be very nice if there was a monumental statue of Christ here, which will be built under the patronage of Mr. Tsarukyan. So I welcome and bless this initiative.
