I am very happy that there will be a statue of Jesus Christ in our country, because every morning when we wake up, we recite the words of our Blessed Lord, our Jesus Christ.. The construction of the statue will also have a great role in terms of morale and psychology.

If the statue of Jesus Christ on the top of Hatis is built in such a way that it will last 100 years or more, it will undoubtedly be considered a serious historical and cultural monument. I have already said that regardless of the difference in views, I bless Mr. Tsarukyan's charitable initiatives. The Armenian Apostolic Church is ready to cooperate with Mr. Tsarukyan in the future if he agrees:

This is just a wonderful idea. It is a very beautiful, unique and in general very innovative idea in the region and I am sure that it will greatly contribute to the development of tourism in Armenia. I am sure that after 3 years we will also be present at the opening ceremony of this beautiful complex. I especially thank Gagik Tsarukyan, he is doing great things for his country and people.

I think this is such a noble idea that everyone will want to be a part of it and do something. I was in Lebanon and I got a very special feeling when visiting the statue of Jesus Christ. People from different corners of the world came to see this wonder. I am sure that the statue of Jesus Christ to be built in Armenia will also become one of the symbols of our country.

It is a great idea and the whole world should be informed that we are the first Christian nation. Contemplation is very good, and I think it will become a new place of pilgrimage for people who have departed from Christian ideas and noble values, it will convert the lost.

I am extremely happy that the tallest statue of Jesus Christ in the world will be erected in Armenia, which was the first to adopt Christianity as the state religion. I even think that this is a belated initiative. But as they say, better late than never.

I wholeheartedly welcome this idea, as a Christian nation, unfortunately, we have gone far from God and as a child of the Armenian Apostolic Church, I definitely welcome this idea.

The installation of the statue of Jesus Christ is also very important from the point of view of tourism development. I am sure that tourists from different corners of the world will come to Armenia to get to know our country and culture and visit the statue of Jesus Christ. All that income will be directed to the state budget, which will serve the country's development.

Being an Armenian Christian, I am of course in favor of this God-pleasing initiative. I wish success to this project. With God's will, let it come true. I always visit the monument of Jesus Christ in Beirut. You know, when you visit those places, you become silent for a moment, you sober up, and you want to understand your past. We must always remember where we come from, who we are and not forget that we are the first Christian nation.

Gagik Tsarukyan is a great philanthropist and has repeatedly proved this by his deeds. I think any armenian should be proud that a monument of Jesus Christ has been erected on his territory. In the future, I am sure that there will be infrastructure-restaurants, cafes, etc., for a decent organization of people's recreation. In a word, it will be a building that improves the homeland, as well as a stimulating factor for visiting foreign tourists. Of course, this is of particular importance for our country, for our nation. As a nation that adopted Christianity, we should have a statue of Jesus Christ. I remember when the Pope arrived in Armenia, he said that a visit to the first Christian country was of particular importance to him. So, regarding Gagik Tsarukyan's charitable initiative, I have only a positive opinion. It can't be otherwise.

I bless and welcome Gagik Tsarukyan's initiative to improve the motherland. Thanks to his efforts, we will be able to see Christ visually. He is a man of action, no matter what he says, he does. We have seen how Mr. Tsarukyan built many churches. He was constantly on the spot, got acquainted with the progress of construction work, always with a smile on his face, always happy. Because he is doing a good deed, because he is a great patriot. And those who are against the installation of a monumental statue of Christ, they just have a misconception about the Christian faith. The statue will not become an object of worship, as they think. We have icons in our church, but we see a completely different meaning in them. So many thanks to Mr. Tsarukyan.

When I saw the statue of Jesus Christ for the first time in Rio de Janeiro, and I was delighted. I think that the first statue like that should have been installed in Armenia, as the country that first adopted Christianity.

It's a great idea and I think this will be one of the steps that will make us all more united and solidary. With this, the eyes of the whole world will turn towards Armenia.

This is probably the most ambitious and large-scale tourism project in Armenia. The Armenian government is ready to do everything to make the project reality as quickly as possible and without obstacles.

This initiative will help us to return to our Christian faith. This will remind us and our people that we must become the way of the truth of Christ, who came and sacrificed himself for us. The monumental statue of Christ will be a reminder of all this. Just like icons, when we put them at home, we don't kiss, we don't bow. This will help us, to delve into the truth. This is a very generous initiative. An opportunity will be created to show the presence of Christ to our and other peoples of the world. How can you resist all this? It’s a very great initiative. I am a Lebanese Armenian and there is a large statue of the Virgin in Beirut, and people from all over the world come there, pray. There is a large number of tourists. There is a special oath day, it is celebrated on May 1st. People come by foot, overcome 10-20 km until they reach the place of pilgrimage. We also, It would be very nice if there was a monumental statue of Christ here, which will be built under the patronage of Mr. Tsarukyan. So I welcome and bless this initiative.

When the Eiffel Tower was built in Paris, there were people who spoke against it, but today it has become a symbol of Paris and there is no person who goes to Paris and does not visit the Eiffel Tower. I welcome the idea of building a statue of Christ in Armenia. I am sure that in a short time it will become one of the most important symbols of Armenia.
