Charitable Foundation from the first days of its activity attached great importance to the health of our population. One of the successfully implemented large-scale programs was free Healthcare campaign implemented in the entire state over the years. Thousands of residents of Yerevan, remote and border regions of Armenia due to the fund had an opportunity to restore the most precious, the health.

From a free medical examination to consultation, and not only, thousands of people who had more serious health problems were sent to the capital, and with the help of the best specialists of the medical center Erebuni were able to recover and even to be operated.

The fund has also helped to the citizens of Yerevan. For many years the public health action has been organized for the residents of all administrative districts of the city, many of them could restore the lost health. Both in all regions of the country, and in Yerevan, thousands of people with vision problems after obtaining the appropriate diagnosis received optical glasses.

Covid-19

The year 2020 brought new challenges, this time in the field of healthcars. Numerous charitable steps aimed at overcoming which were undertaken by the Gagik Tsarukyan Charitable Foundation. When the first cases of Covid-19 appeared in our country, G. Tsarukyan allocated 60 million AMD for the fight against coronavirus․ 35 million AMD were transferred to the treatment of patients of the infectious diseases hospital "Nork", another 10 million AMD were provided to all medical workers of this hospital as a reward․ In addition, 10 million AMD were allocated for the treatment of coronavirus patients in Gyumri, another 5 million AMD were received by Gyumri medical workers․

During the entire period of quarantine and restrictions announced in the country, large-scale social assistance programs were implemented throughout Armenia for several months at the initiative of Gagik Tsarukyan, the beneficiaries of which were 100 thousand ordinary citizens of Armenia․ In all administrative districts of the capital Yerevan, as well as in the most remote and border settlements of the republic, the Gagik Tsarukyan Charitable Foundation provided basic necessities to needy families, lonely elderly people, disabled, those who participated in war, representatives of vulnerable groups․ Due to the state of emergency in the republic, there was a shortage of fertilizers, which put farmers in trouble․ Gagik Tsarukyan Foundation provided a large amount of free fertilizers to villagers from different communities of the republic, once again helping them to solve the problems of vital necessity․ 

In addition to social assistance programs, activities aimed at preventing infection continued on a daily basis in various administrative districts of the capital, as well as in the Kotayk region․ The foundation's employees thoroughly disinfected streets, bus stops, entrances to shops, press kiosks and pharmacies and adjacent territories with high-quality materials, thereby preventing the spread of the epidemic․
